Nice drawing! I love how the dark shaded area on the left side of the face makes the whole portrait stand out more. Very cool!

I admire what you're doing, Kaputnik. There's real originality there. I draw a bit myself, just my own feeble attempts at humour but I know what it means to commit yourself to the challenge of a sheet of white paper.

This theme is not new, I think I know it since about 20 years and I always liked it.
So now I thought it is time to create my own version of it.

The inking is down with a Pentel Pocket Brush, afterwards I colored it with water colors, the final touch ups are made with colored pencil.

Thanks a lot Yazeh, glad you like it

    Today something darker.
I had to try the white charcoal pencil from my new Conte set again.
I really like that white charcoal pencil, it is less chalky than e.g. the Cretacolor pencils, kind of smoother.

So often I wanted to have an own thread necromancy picture to be used in the forums I participate.
So now I´ve created one, used the white chalk drawing from before and created it in Procreate.

I recently saw a fabulous animation named WolfWalkers. I haven't seen drawing so exquisite in a long time...
I thought you guys, might enjoy it, if you haven't seen it already

I want to get better at figure drawing with pen and ink.

So this is my latest fountain pen drawing.
It is done using my vintage Pelikan Ibis fountain pen, in a last touch up I emphasized the hatched shadows slightly with a pencil to give it a bit more depth.

Well done Usk, I like the perspective.

This is my latest fountain pen drawing, again figure drawing practice.

    You've been very busy
Do you start your sketches with pencil and then switch to Fountain pen or you start and finish with fountain pen?
