    Looks great Migo

    Tested my new Staedtler pencils.
I have to say they are also great, before I used mainly Faber Castell Castell 9000 pencils.

And my son sketched a duck with his Pelikan Griffix FP.
    Afterwards he colored it.

Working with coloured pencils (Faber Castell Polychromos), sketching an autumn leaf. Building up the layers of colour takes a surprisingly long time! Still a lot to do but I'm learning a lot as I go and enjoying the process.

Great stuff Migo, keep it coming
I probably also should work on my color layering abilities, the Polychromos are great..... But I´m a lazy guy......

My son picked a motif by himself, sketched it with a pencil and colored it with FP inks and brushes.
    I´m very proud of him.

    Well done USK15 and little USK15 !

Please tell little USK15 that we (my wife, my son (now 7) and I) love her Shrek
    Please keep the pictures coming.

The Shrek movies are some of the favorite movies of my son (and I also really like them).

My input for today probably would again caused a site ban on FPN if I would still post there.
I had the idea to do a space scene, but not a normal one, so I thought about how I could do that.
    This is the outcome.

Thanks Vera for your kind words
But it´s not a matter of talent, everybody can draw,paint,... create art.
It´s only a matter of practice, if somebody is willing to learn and investing time the results will get better and better.
But the most important part is not how "good" you are in the eyes of the others, what really count is to have fun doing it.

Thank you. I really appreciate your kind comments.
I love old wood - its surface weathering & patina is, to me, evocative of the life it's led.
