    Thank you!

Here’s another old one. Seems like I moved on from pointillism to Steinberg but the café fixation remained.

Another version of my last post.

I have a lot of newsprint paper that I've been using for my pencil sketches recently, loose 18x24 sheets that I've been cutting into 9x12s.. I like the way the paper looks, and although the archival properties are poor, it's not as if what I'm doing now needs to last for years; it's all just practice.

I've been away for a while. We've moved and the inks are still in a box, somewhere. I did find a three pack of small Iroshizuku bottles ((tsukushi, yama- budo, kon-peki) and the glass dip. This is from what is shaping up to be a weekly challenge on another forum: Cherry Blossoms.

Given the tacticool trend and the pocketable multitool trend, that fountain-wrench would probably sell very well on Kickstarter.

Still thinking about the current Inktober52 prompt ‘history’.

Here’s a couple of long-ago efforts on a historical portrait theme, one less serious than the other. (Was probably attempting some kind of Glen Baxter/Ralph Steadman mash-up.)

    dip pen and watercolour maybe
