Thank you 🙂 I enjoyed doing this one because the colours so were subtle and natural. I finished it in three or four sessions over 2 days. I’m a bit of a “detail freak”; too much at times!
I like the liveliness and style of your sketches. Their immediacy is really attractive. I try to do the same with my composition and tonal sketches, to counteract my tendency for getting bogged down in minutiae.

I know that I'm not up to the level of most here. But I've been finding inspiration in black and white photos with strong contrasts between light and dark.
This has led to the rather profligate expenditure of graphite. Notice the stub of a Mitsubishi Uni 10B pencil at the bottom of this picture. I have a pencil extender for it, and may be able to use just a bit more.
