April hasn't been the most productive month so far, although I've done something every day. Here's a picture from late March. Watercolor and a black ink brush pen.

And here's something that isn't strictly speaking mine. Just a photo I took on a walk yesterday. Don't know who did it, but thought it was interesting enough to preserve.

That's the latest pen I restored. No branding, 1940s from the looks of it. But look at that celluloid pattern.

Yazeh, I know you like inks, that sketch was done with one ink, Anderillium Cuttlefish Brown. It's cool to me that it looks almost black for the outline and it's a nice shade of brown (lending to the oldies look) when used with water dilution and a waterbrush.

Wow! That looks like a great sketch ink. So many shades of "brown". I'm reviewing R &K document Braun. It's almost black when sketching with an EF nib. Though, I haven't tried washes with. But when I did its chroma it was just dark brown, so I doubt if I can do washes like that. But now you inspired me to try

For myself I offer up my drawing for an online challenge in twitter called 'Alphabet Animals'. This week: C is for Centaur

That's so cool! I love seeing the creative ways people take on the alphabet challenge. I'm sure your centaur drawing was amazing!

I like the seemingly random clash of buildings from different eras and the resulting shapes.

This is based on a photo by British photographer Lee Jeffries, who has done some very powerful portrayals of homeless people.

Bit of a cheat really! But I'm including this watercolour by my late father. His outlining was done often with the Rotring that I've superimposed.
Dad had that beautiful sensitive 'loose' line quality that I see in Christof's great drawings. (Love the architectural works too Christof).
