    Thank you!
The woman’s face is part collage (cut from a magazine) and part doodle. I saw her photo and thought she was just beautiful. I wish I had the skill to draw her! :-)
Ah, interesting, I sorta did the reverse, I put a photo of my sketch in the middle of a stock photo
I’ll have to give that a try I’m starting a new experimental art journal and I’m looking for new ideas & alternate ways to use my inks.

My son and I watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, these drawings are influenced by the movie.

Last weekend we walked in the woods and collected interesting items to draw.
Afterwards we had a sketching session at home using fine liners.
The results were colored at the end.

Ok, let us see where this is going to.

    Today´s sketch.

A style icon, designed by Ferdinand Porsche, built continously over 65 years, sold 21,5 million times.
    The most successful car ever.

Today I brought my son to his Judo training.
During his training I sketched on the observer gallerie of the dojo.

Pig Sketch by Ptero Pterodactylus, auf Flickr

    (Koh-i-noor Hardtmuth 2mm Blue Lead)

I like this blue 2mm leads even they are quite brittle and they erase not as good as a graphite lead.
But they shade nicely and feel really good when sketching.

First I had them in a Koh-I-noor Toison D'or 5900 holder, but there they break even with really low pressure.
Then I tried it in a Staedtler Mars technico holder and here they work much much better.
So if you have problems with brittle leads it might be worth to try a different lead holder.

    Ok, this evening it´s a BMW 2002 from 1970.

I´d like to invite you all to join a car sketching session.
    Show us your car sketch.
It does not matter how good or bad you can draw, what matters is to have fun to be creative

    Hi Suzy,
I already admired your sketches in the mystery ink thread.
Great that you post them also here.
I would really like to see more from you, keep it coming

Today my son and I had again a joint drawing session.
But he refused to draw a car.
He claimed that drawing cars is boring, so he decided to draw a easter bunny instead using his pastels.

I decided to draw a NSU Prinz 4.
A Prinz was the first car of my Mom (I don´t know if it was a 4 or an earlier Version).

    Great stuff usk.
Keep also the drawings from your daughter coming, well done.

This week sketch made during the Judo training of Junior.
These characters are from Bee Maya.
I don´t know how popular the show was/is all over the world.
At least in the german speaking countries everybody knows Maya since decades.
