Very nice, moominyak. Better late than never.

moominyak ~ 'Better late than never', as the saying goes.
You really challenged yourself with the perspective on all three subjects! Outstanding results
I am willing to assume none of us have looked at these objects as closely before ....but in doing so have a newfound respect for the complexities of seemingly simple items and have stretched our
skills a little in the process of sketching them
I think the biggest challenge for me is the medium. I am not used to pen and ink, though I've gotten a little more comfortable with it.
Week #8 ~ your salt or pepper shaker
...in this case it's the small, very chipped, multifaceted, crystal salt shaker on the counter. Oh what EVER was I thinking when I chose this over the pepper mill?

AAAAAND that my friend, is the point of the exercises. Getting more comfortable with the medium is a good thing

WELL....I didn't say they have go be yours Usually if a person wears prescription glasses they tend to hang on to the old pair when they need to update the said specs. None about? Do you have an ipad or tablet? I intend to a picture of my glasses and then sketch from that image...
As for my salt shaker...thank-you. I just said 'watercolour paper' because I have a heap of loose sheets from when I cleaned out my cupboard that I'm 'reusing' (the back). IF this is what I believe it to be, it's probably Canson Montval, 140lb cold press paper....
....and the shape of the salt shaker is lovely but totally impractical for an inkwell. It would knock over too easily and the neck makes the Herbin 1670 bottles look like they sport gaping holes
I'm near sighted, so as long as the glasses are in the same room with me, I'll get by. And, I do have a couple of spares.
I don't think you said what paper when you posted - I just noticed the pattern. I have an acrylic (watercolor method) that I want to post in the other thread but I'll have to find the inspirational photo, first.
Happy Sunday!

LOLOL! Not entirely certain I'd WANT to see everyone nekked! Great stuff!
Thanks, Pira and I'll second that - there's a whole bunch of people I'm quite happy to see with their clothes on; and there's nobody in their right mind that want's to see me without mine.
My glasses are a little darker blue than that, with some black swirled in, but I was trying to keep it simple.
India and acrylic inks, disluted Cross black FP ink. Hunt #512 EF dip pen, small paint brush.
Lettering with Conklin Duragraph, 1.1 stub & Diamine Blue Pearl.
Pets by Charlie Wrenn, on Flickr
Background:
All three cats are rescues. Jasper was found by a coworker, and was about four weeks old. We took him and nursed him to health. During his initial vet visit, we found out he had an extremely strong case of FLV (Feline Leukemia Virus - incurable) but we decided to try and make his life better for the time he had left. He was the sweetest cat, and lived about a year.
Bell is the oldest at about 12. She was found wandering on ice as a kitten and given to a vet clinic. I had another coworker that worked at the vet, part-time, and told me about her. When we went to see her, she shot up my arm and laid on my shoulder; we took her home a few days later.
Zoe (the kitten) was feral and living in a storm drain with her three siblings and mother, outside our office building. A nice lady in the building took her in and fostered her until she was old enough to be adopted. I didn't want another pet at the time, but when I saw her photo, my mind was changed. She is "daddy's girl."

Lovely stories Snowbear! Thank-you for sharing them and the super drawing =^..^=
I was out of town again over the weekend and hit the ground running when I returned. I will hopefully get my two drawings done this week.
It's close enough to Sunday, local time.
I'll let you decide if they are fruit or vegetables.
