Hi Michelle,

I'll look for you in LA, I'll be there a couple days. The FB link in your first post didn't really take me anywhere, but I searched for you and gave you a "Like". BTW: if I were to purchase a couple of the pen display trays, what is the suggested method for cutting them? I wouldn't want it to look all messy and ragged on the edge!

Hi Jon....

The pen trays cut with a simple exacto knife. When slicing along the groove, it glides like butter but over the ridges it can get sloppy if you dont take your time. These are a .035 polystyrene flocked with a soft velour so it wont look "jagged" so much as maybe "crooked." I always frame the inside of my project with some kind of faux suede which helps conceal any imperfections in the cut. On the inside of the box, I cut a thin piece of craft wood (Ive even used those large craft quality popsicle sticks) and roll them in any nice quality suede lining (or whatever) and then line the inside of the box with those. Anything will work really, as long as its secured nicely and you pay attention to the detail it will look nice. I got the black in today and just updated the website so let me know if you want to try a few.
