I use an A5 size roterfaden taschenbegleiter, its very flexible with inner pockets and clips so you can put a combination of notebooks, plastic wallets, note pads etc inside. Great if you want writing paper and sketching paper in the same place

They will also do custom versions https://roterfaden.de/

I have one of the A5 leather covers that Ruitertassen made for Cult Pens, filled with staplebound notebooks and sketchbooks. Few complaints.

Just bought something like this myself, an A6 goat-leather cover from Gusti Leder.

Fits an A6 Seawhite cahier, but...

It's something I'm willing to do, though it's probably best used with 90x140mm cahiers or softcover notebooks.

Clairefontaine produce nice (lined) 90x140mm notebooks.

William Hannah https://williamhannah.com/products/b...-pocket-refill and Fabriano (Cult pens) produce nice blank ones.

I have found the Moleskine ones to be adequate too as long as I stick with inks that are not very wet. Quink, Platinum and Mont Blanc inks work fine. Waterman doesn't work.

I flip my notebook 90 degrees so I get longer lines - also being a leftie it means I'm writing down the page, rather than across.

It's something I'm willing to do, though it's probably best used with 90x140mm cahiers or softcover notebooks.[/QUOTE]

I found out the hard way that Moleskines aren't perfect for any wet media, though I have a Clairefontaine book on the next Cult Pens shopping list. See if it slots in beside the Seawhite.

I wasn't aware of the William Hannah option. Thanks for that.
