Default Decided to come clean about my addiction

And learn to love it instead of being embarrassed. Also decided to try to find some like minded people who would understand how much I love pens and inks and paper because they do, too. And who love to talk about it. I have been collecting (hoarding?) on the sly for a few years now but my knowledge is shaky. I hope that joining here will open up a ton of information/resources/tips that will let me learn how to use and grow my collection.

Thank you Scrawler. I am thrilled to hear that Toronto has a community. I just found a store here yesterday and spent and hour and a half with drool running down my face Can you give me any link or connection to the support group if it is not too much trouble?

No, it was Take Note on Dundas. I have been listening to the Pen Addict Pod Casts (new to podcasts and was kind of amazed to find this). So, I looked at their pen shows and they had Toronto, which thrilled me. Followed that link and found out about the show I missed. Looked at that show's sponsors and found a link to Take Note. As you can see, I am clearly not in any loop yet! Was quite proud of myself and promptly went there. The service was simply amazing. The woman spent literally over an hour fitting me out with pen, paper, ink and case. I know just enough to be fussy but not enough to be decisive and she put up with it with grace and patience. I am already planning my next trip there. I have bought everything else on line (except one or two purchases at Sleuth and Statesman) and it was truly heartwarming to have someone to talk to as I dithered. I have never really had anyone who could care less if they were using a Bic so it was fantastic. Thanks for the references --I will check out Wonderpens and the Toronto Pen Posse.
