Ebi Fry, by the way, is one of my favorite foods.

Ebi is shrimp. Metric was an allusion to decapoda. Crisp and crunchy shrimp - spring salads, etc.

The last time, I had Ebi fry was in a Japanese style bar. It closed soon after the pandemic....

Sorry to hear that. This is something that is hard to make at home. The very best is first partially cooked on a skewer then tempura fried. I visited a place when visiting Japan that made ebi fry right in front of you. Totally amazing.

Thank you Rad for the the fun trip.

I, unfortunately, developed a life-threatening allergy to shellfish and can no longer eat shrimp, lobster, clams, oysters and all of the other wonderful shellfish out there. sniff, sniff (And yes, I carry Epi-pens along with my fountain pens where ever I go)
