I knew you would have this one in your swatches but I was counting on you not thinking I had any! But yes, indeed, it is Montblanc Oyster Grey! It's even an older bottle that I scored together with a bottle of Cool Grey, which I understand is basically the same ink with a new name, on the secondhand market. This was actually the color that I liked most when I was looking for a dark grey but it was nowhere to be found. Then after I settled on something else, there it was for sale by a Montblanc collector!

And my apologies - the pen I wanted to use needed a little bit of adjustment, and then it took its own sweet time deciding on which ink it wanted to wear. It rejected a couple (one of which I rather liked), but ended up happy with this one, which is a little lighter, but tonally very much in line with the laque finish, and nicely spring-like in many ways.

Awful lighting (more apologies!), and the swatch is the most accurate in terms of colour
