Ptero, I wince for that poor cyclist! He'll be black and blue all over. On which note - Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black?

It does indeed, but they aren't particularly on my favourites list either.

It is not Pelikan Blue-Black, it does not have any blue in it, it's a pure grey ink.
It is also not Bleu Nuit.
And it is also not Fog Grey.

annnnnnddddd we have a winner !!!

Migo is right, it is De Atramentis Silbergrau !

I thought this would be a tough one, but in fact it seems to be too easy for you professionals.

Why did you all targeted at De Atramentis? Was it that obvious?

    Migo, it's your turn

I find De A grey inks to be particularly distinctive. I really like them.

I'll post the next ink a bit later ..............

Not to me! I thought it might be another grey, went looking for a review with some examples, and decided it wasn't a good match. But the review was one of five on grey inks, so naturally I looked at the others. One of them was De Atramentis Charles Dickens, which I decided also was not a good match. But then I decided to see if De Atramentis had any other greys, and indeed they do!

There might be something to that. There was certainly something about the De Atramentis Charles Dickens that made me think it might be in the same family as the ink you'd used.

Here's the next ink for guessing, folks. I apologise if it's been done before - I'm losing track of which inks have already been guessed!

No, neither of those. It's a slightly darker shade.
