I'm so sorry. I just realized that the brand has been named. Thanks for listing it @pithy.
    I completely missed it.
So as a mea culpa, I'll narrow it down.
    It's not North American/Australian/European/ Japanese.

    Again, likely more repeats.

Kala Sierra Mist / Scapolite / Pyrite

OK - got to turn in - my beagle is insistent that it's time for bed.

Well done, Pithy! After my last guess and Yazeh's comment, I was completely out of ideas.

I am likely going to not be around much this coming week. I am traveling all week. So I will see you on the other side, but I will try and drop in if I can.

Evidently, my beagle knows the score, even though she acts like a total goofball.

How do you like that Kala ink? Have you tried any other Kalas?

Back in few hours with a new mystery ink!

I really like it for now. But it hasn't gone through the battery of tests, so time will say. Another thing I like is the small bottle. I sort of wished I'd got the green leaning ones, but I didn't. There's a good review of the whole series, here

Just after I took the last picture my mother-in-law's kitten jumped on the table and knocked the pen off of it, falling on the nib, and bending it. I literally got this pen just a few days ago and it's one of my favorites. I know I shouldn't be depressed - it's just a object, not so important - everything is impermanent. Like the quote in my previous mystery ink - I should always see such objects as if it is already broken. But not so easy in practice sometimes ...

Sorry to hear about the nib. Hope you can repair ir.
Maybe it would be easier, if we acknowledge/embrace the pain, be with it, mourn and then release it..
    Nice colour.

    Taccia Ukiyo-e Ink Sharaku-Akasakura?
Kobe #39 Kobe Brick Warehouse/ Bordeaux?

In Thai there is a common saying - 'mai ben rai' - which is very difficult to define and it actually has a lot of different meanings but very basically: 'it's of no use to worry - there's nothing I can do about it - I'll let it slide and move on'. It's a fundamental characteristic of Thai national character. So, MAI BEN RAI.

Will probably send it to Pilot Japan for repair.

Sorry, those are not correct (but interesting choices!).
