Thanks Weevil.
I only can tell you that I love this ink.
This ink in a flex nib pen is an awesome shader, just look stunning.
Ok, in the meanwihile I prepared something.
Here it is......
Game on!

Montblanc Midnight Blue?
Sailor Kobe #7?
Given the sketch subject and my love of Terry Pratchett's work (mayherestinpeace), I feel obliged to ask like this:
DIAMINE 1864 BLUE-BLACK?
Hmm. Well, as a terminal visit from the Grim Reaper generates certain paperwork, how about Ecclesiastical Stationery Supplies Registrars Ink?
Forget the blue-grey hue, yes it has a kind of blue tone, but due to the direct sunlight it might look even more bluish on the picture as it is.
Think about what would be the most appropriate color for the Grim Reaper.
Look at his face or on his scythe.
Diamine Eclipse?
Uh... J. Herbin Perle Noire?
Still looks awful blue to me, so I'm struggling. Er, Rohrer & Klingner Leipziger Schwarz?
Congrats Weevil, you did it again, in fact it is Leipziger Schwarz.
Here is another example of washed Leipziger Schwarz.
The body of the fly is made with it.
It get a bluish hue when washed.
ESSRI was only used for the line art, the eyes were made with your hate/love ink

Well there ya go - this streak of luck will evaporate soon, I'm sure. You know, while Googling for inspiration, that was the very image that turned up and caught my eye. Made me go "Ewww" a bit too it's true, but still...
Right, with luck this might last a little longer than Ancient Copper did. My head tells me I don't like this colour, and yet somehow I like this ink. Maybe it's the shading, I dunno. It's clearly not the water resistance.
