I was right?! Gosh. Well, at least when they ask what recent optical trauma I've suffered, I'll be able to tell them what it was!

I unreservedly apologise to Solferino - a cleansing dose of its colourful tones might actually be a Good Thing, as the optometrist was positively fulsome in her congratulations on the health of my eyeballs. (I tried to persuade her that the ballpoint she was using was the cause of her death grip rather than an effect, but to no avail. It was a no-score draw, as she didn't convince me to buy any glasses either.)

Anyway, rather in a similar tonal vein, but as it was inked... Taken under artificial light I fear (our Summer was last week) so I may have to have another go at it tomorrow. Or you may get it toot sweet and save me the trouble.
