Couldn't honestly say, but it certainly doesn't in this dojo.

And.... almost. Shall I give it to you? Yes, why not. It's actually from their "Classique" range, but what the difference is I really don't entirely grasp.

    Congratulations, Ptero!

Didn't think it would be that troublesome; so apologies for my poor estimation of this brand's reach.

Ok here is the next one....

And for the writing aficionados this one:

This is my second fountain pen I got for school used since the early 80s.
The pen took a lot of abuse over the years but survived
The first one was a not so lucky Pelikano which I destroyed.

I will have to consult shades of purple/violet when I get home, but this certainly looks pleasant.

Weevil, just wanna to add that there is no need to apologize, we all want demanding challenges, this was really a good input for the game (and pointed my attention to a brand which was not in my focus yet).

    Scooby, I´m awaiting your guesses.
Shades of purple/violet are at least as pleasant as shades of grey

I will take a ranging shot with a classic purple, currently known as: Waterman Tender Purple.

In that case I will increase my elevation and shoot with Rohrer & Klingner Cassia.

Nope, Cassia is also a great ink, but I think the mystery ink is even a better shader.

Sorry also not a Caran d'Ache ink.

Interesting, I thought it would be only a matter of minutes until somebody guessed the right ink.

Sorry Notsim, also not a Diamine ink.

The mystery ink is a high saturated one.

I finally had time to do a little sleuthing through personal writing samples and naimitsu's hundreds of sample vials of inks. Unfortunately I'm going to have to guess that it's something we don't have in the house.

Is the mystery ink Private Reserve Tanzanite?

Bullseye with the first shot !!!

Yes it is Tanzanite, I intentionally did not mentioned the amazing sheen, as I thought it would be too easy then.

    Your turn Scooby.

Sorry all, been out of the office all day and didn't see this until I got home. I'll have to write and post something this evening.

Apologies. I remembered I had a new ink arriving so I've delayed a day. I'll take photos tomorrow morning once the sun is up.
