Good guess, but I feel that the ink in my pen is less red and a bit darker.

Another good guess, I would say the ink in my pen is similar but much less grey in the brown.

I've never tried that one. I just looked it up to check the colour and Google shows me four or five different colours so I'm not sure how close it is... But it is not MV.

Hint 3. I said not a Japanese boutique ink...

Hmmm, the ink feathers quite a lot, so could it be that it is a real wet ink, maybe one of the the crazy flowing KWZ ones?
