Pelikan Smoky Quartz?
Pelikan Smoky Quartz?
Only a few guesses so far, so I'm going to throw out some clues...
1. Not Japanese
2. Not European
and to make it fair to those that don't know me as well as others, I DO NOT use Noodler's ink

MV Moonstone
I've never tried that one. I just looked it up to check the colour and Google shows me four or five different colours so I'm not sure how close it is... But it is not MV.
Hint 3. I said not a Japanese boutique ink...
And there is a huge hint of you know what to look for!

Does the ink manufacturer / brand also make pens...and perhaps leather goods?

Here's an ink to make you think - a shade of purple, not a pink.

Iro. Murasaki Shikibu?

Hmmm, the ink feathers quite a lot, so could it be that it is a real wet ink, maybe one of the the crazy flowing KWZ ones?
Is it KWZ Gummiberry?
Iro. Murasaki Shikibu - you're far afield in the land of the rising sun
KWZ Gummiberry - this guess is gumming up the works
Throwing in...
Lamy Dark Lilac?
