No on both counts, sorry. It cannot be used to make a hot beverage, neither cocoa nor coffee.

    Sorry - I guess I broke GTI.

It was Diamine Macassar. Someone else can have a go.

I had no idea. I'm not much into browns. I own two and have only used three, and knew this wasn't any of them. If no one else responds to the call I'll post something tomorrow. I have a package arriving this afternoon.

Sorry, I stopped guessing owing to not wanting to risk having to do a sample myself.

Darn it! It sure looked like Macassar but I thought it couldn't possibly be that one as I've only recently reviewed it.

I shall try... Pelikan Edelstein Jade. (And that was before I went hunting to find out which Visconti that might be.)

It is not Schubert. Schubert definitely has more blue than the mystery ink.

While you did match a color choice to the name / color of the pen it is not the correct ink. It is neither Jade nor Pelikan. Looking at other writing samples and color swatches online I think the mystery ink is a more saturated green than PE Jade, though I think that may be difficult to catch from the extra fine nib in this example.

With this I must agree. While the mystery ink is on the sad side of greens, Diamine Marine is singing the blues all on its own.

I will add that it is not a Diamine ink.

It is not a Pelikan ink. I ruled them out after grainweevil guessed PE Jade yesterday.

Also, welcome to the site. Nice to see a new member unafraid to jump right in!

It is not a Robert Oster ink. Definitely more green in the mystery ink. In fact it has "green" in the name.

    You're off by ~16,000 kilometers

I believe this to be way off the yellow brick road, but what the heck: Organics Studio Masters of Writing L. Frank Baum Emerald City Green?

Nope. It is not an Organics Studio ink.

Hint: The ink brand is represented in the photo.

Might as well just say the name of the ink.
