Not a Blackstone ink, but the color looks close. The mystery ink may be a tad lighter. Geographically getting warmer.

Only after all the clues and heavy Googling, I think I've worked out the ink. But as that hardly equates to "guessing", I shall keep mum. It doesn't seem to be much known outside Germany, as far as I can tell, so you've really find a tricky one here, Jens!

If using google is prohibited I'm in trouble. My ink knowledge isn't nearly vast enough to make many educated guesses. Part of what I like about guessing an ink is discovering new inks via google while trying to uncover the mystery.

Just went through all 363 pages of this thread leading up to now... It has been a long (but enjoyable) road

I started going through the thread's history to catalog which inks have been used. I don't remember what thread I made it to but my list includes 36 inks (I also started recording who guessed correctly around ink #30). If anyone is interested in collaborating on this endeavor I'd be happy to create a shared google doc; I won't have time to work on this little side project for a while.

I'll take geographical warmth to mean geographically correct and guess Robert Oster Spearmint (only because I have this inked at the moment).

Maybe some accidental misinformation. Geographically warmer meant closer, but not Australian.

Oh, dear - such a wide field.
The only green japanese ink I have is Platinum Classic Forest Black, looking different.
So I looked online... Iroshizuku shin-ryoku seems close.

Shin-Ryoku is a close color match but not the ink.

Hint: the mystery ink is pigmented

I’ve never really liked the look of the Storia range but I do like your writ8ng sample of the green.

I’ll post another ink for guessing in the morning (UK).

Neither of these.

It’s not unobtanium, but also not “common”.

I must apologise that the scan I posted looks too light now on this screen, when compared to the actual shade. The ink is a darker shade and I’ll try to post an alternative photo later.
