Well, it´s not an Elephant, but I hope a Crocodile is also accepted.

And of course also some writing with the ink as well.

Not a bad guess, but itˋs not a Robert Oster ink.

The ink we are searching is an awesome shader, has reddish sheen and almost no water resistance.

If we would just tic off the manufacturers that fast it would be too easy, isn’t it?

So if you think it could might be a De Atramentis ink then please choose one

Maybe some sheen macros will help.

.... or even if they do not help at least they look cool and show another aspect of this ink

To be honest, this ink is quite new in my arsenal, but it impressed me right from the start.

🐞 the unknown ink has teal/turquoise/greenish undertones (I think it can be seen in the writing sample), Oxford Blue is also an amazing ink, but much more on the blue side.

So no it‘s not Oxford Blue and itˋs also not a Diamine ink.

To answer the question about the color components of the unknown ink I´ve created this:

Guess - Ink Components by Ptero Ptero

We can see that the unknown ink is a quite complex ink containing several blue and green components.

The unknown ink is a complex quite high saturated ink.

I guess with these inputs it should be possible to narrow down the possible inks or even find it

Not bad, also a great shader with a lot of sheen, but too much on the blue side, no it’s not a Private Reserve ink.

Additional hint: The ink come from a different continent than PR.

    Keep the guesses coming

Cat looks also very interesting, unfortunately I don’t own Cat yet.
It is also not a Colorverse ink.

    Next hint:
The unknown ink is not as new as the Colorverse inks, but it is also quite new on the market.

I guess it's Sydney Harbor Blue then? Those are really the only two Blackstone blues I am familiar with

The new mystery ink is an ink i recently acquired. No sheen, but all around a nice ink that fits well in a winter palette.
