Let me repost the samples that we have it visible on the same page as the guesses (more convenient).

Pelikan Edelstein Garnet?
MB Bordeaux?
Noodler's Park Red?
Three other contenders:
Rohrer & Klingner Morinda
Rohrer & Klingner Fernambuk
or Seitz-Kreuznach Strawberry?
Ok Yazeh, 3 guesses at ones, let‘s take a look.....
Morinda is too dark and also too Bordeaux like.
Fernambuk is too pale.
Actually R&K does not have such a neutral bright red ink.
So we can cut off Rohrer&Klingner also from the list.
Let’s take a look at Strawberry .... there are not many online references on a quick Google search.....I do own Seitz Kreuznach inks, they are great (I think they are possibly manufactured by R&K).... e.g. I like Slate Grey for sketching very much.
But no.... I do not own Seitz Kreuznach Strawberry.... so no it is not our unknown ink.... sorry.
And to exclude a bunch of sellers which trade inks under their own name but are manufactured by somebody else.
I can tell you, the unknown ink is directly from a well known ink manufacturer.
Thanks for the detailed response.
What about J. Herbin, Rouge Grenat or Rouge Opera?
3 Oysters Chilli Red

Ok.... this is an exotic guess, but looking at pictures of it also a good one.
The ink seems to be a really bright red very close to the unknown ink.
But no.... it is not a 3 Oyster ink.
I mentioned before, the unknown ink is from a well known ink manufacturer and already on the market since a while (and still available).
Keep the guesses coming, I doubt that you want to let me win.
Btw.
The white Pelikan is a pen from my wife and she wanted me to fill her pen with a bright red ink as she want to correct exercises of my son with it.
I borrowed the pen from her for the game.
My son on the other side said to me, why did you chosen such an easy to guess ink, you should have chosen something fancy, exotic, more difficult.
It seems that he was not right, sometimes the simple things are not easy as well.
At least I enjoy the game and your guesses.
I remember previous rounds when I prepared something in my eyes really difficult and the first guess 5 minutes later shot it out of the game.
Graf von Faber-Castell India Red?
Diamine Carnival?
Or, if no-one has suggested it, Diamine Ruby?
Vintage. Cursive italic. Iron gall.
Diamine Poppy red,
Diamine ruby red
Diamine red dragon,
Diamine Scarlet....
Take your pick
