I thought that *was* a hint!!

This ink is a bit of a chameleon and exhibits quite different colours on different papers. Also widely praised for its sheen. Both attributes you cannot see in my writing sample.

Far too brown.

A fun attribute of this ink: under running water, the brown/green washes away to reveal a cerulean blue base.

Oh and the blue residual ink is not an advertised feature of this ink - just a neat observation.

Aha! It was the blue that gave it away - and only because I spilled water on some only a couple of days ago.

Apologies for the blobbiness of the benu - it only arrived yesterday and I haven't stubbed the nib yet - it's still a BBblob of nothingness, but I'm hoping will be lovely when I've finished with it!
