No harm in taking a bit of a breather all round I think. Then it'll be time to break out the pink inks Good luck - hope baby arrives in time to be a lovely Gemini!

ps. You really shouldn't name her after a favourite pen or ink, however tempting that may be...

Baby Prior arrived this morning at a healthy 3kg. Baby and mummy are doing very well, and daddy has learnt how to change a diaper and swaddle.

In a brief moment of respite, I present another 'guess the ink'. It is not the ink I intended to use, but the new pen which will be dedicated to the intended ink has not been as prompt as baby, so this will have to do!IMG_20210608_1808498.jpg

Fantastic news! Huge congratulations, and I'm so pleased both are well. I also highly endorse swaddling, which worked brilliantly for mine (who was just a tad bigger at 5kg!)

I shall apply myself to ink guessing in the morning. In the meantime - hope you get some rest while you still can. There will be many, many more diapers to change...

Thank you both for your kind words. Apart from a 4:45am alarm clock this morning, I can't claim to be excessively sleep deprived yet. I'm sure that will come!

None of these, I'm afraid. Not coffee in any of its incarnations.

None of those either. You might be heading in a slightly mauvier direction than is strictly warranted.

Neither, but I would love to try the latter.

Sorry not those either, though I do love the properties of Kiwa-guro.

Great guess, but not this time.

    Is a clue required?
P.S. I'll be at the hospital all day so might not be able to confirm guesses promptly.
