On the day I purchased this ink, a category 4 typhoon was racing towards this place . . . where the ink manufacturer is located. The typhoon only skimmed the edge and veered off to spin harmlessly away.

I just found out that this brand of ink and even the color have been reviewed. I won't say by who or where, but the ink has been reviewed.

1. I found it in my international travels.
2. The ink manufacturer also makes pens.
3. It is not an ink that most North American and European retailers carry.
4. The quote may give some clue to the ink name.
5. Complements to mizgeorge, "clouds" is not in the name of the ink.
6. None of the brands mentioned so far are this brand.
7. It isn't an India ink (made in or by an Indian manufacturer)
8. Typhoons are common this time of year.
9. The ink and the ink manufacturer has been reviewed somewhere by somebody.

Another major pen manufacturer, who makes an "environmentally friendly" pen, also creates their pens in the same general location. Also, there are several ink manufacturers from this area that are now becoming popular in North America.

Remember, this is a brand that hasn't made a debut in North America or Europe - that I am aware of and I have looked at almost all of the major (and many minor) ink retailers and the major internet auction/sales places. If I see anything - which isn't much - it is the fountain pens, not the ink. And the fountain pens are inexpensive pens - and are likely made in their big neighbor to the west. But the ink is likely made in the same place as Bannon Street, Lennon Tool Bar, iPaper and Ink Institute.

So, let's all say it together: T-A-I-W-A-N
