Going onto the paper, it does look more pink/purple before drying to what you see in the images, but it isn’t an iron gall either.
Good insight though!

I’m still trying to figure out how to pace these things, but I feel like we might be suffering here.
Let me possibly confuse you all more with this clue…

Regarding the name of the ink, if you were to consider the states of matter in the thing so named, you might find all three of solid, liquid, and gas!
(I’d say it’s more commonly thought of as gas and solid however…)
