Glad this was an easy ink...
I let DePerfectin/ thi or BP to swoop in... I'm done with this...
None of the above - I also have both Petrichor and Sirena inked up at the moment (I think Sirena was one of the first guesses, but this one's much mintier)
I want them very, very much! The inks, the pens and especially the cats. Himalayans may be my favourite cats of all time in terms of looks - it's the eyes, which are the same colour as my daughter's. I have a huge weakness for CKCSs as well - they have such awesome personalities.
I'm only doing easy inks from now on - having to think about all these fabulous Sailors that I can't get my hands on is just too unfair!
This ink, however, is not from Sailor...
Remember...
Succulent
I was about to guess Tono & Lims No.4 U & I - Tonocha Green, but now I have very strong doubts!
Kyo-no-oto Urahairo
and with that I am all out of guesses.
PEN BBS 160 - Mentha Aquatica
PEN BBS 398 - Morning Ink
PEN BBS 397 - Breakfast time
PEN BBS 403 - Evening time
PEN BBS 416 - Tea Green
(these aren't really guesses - they are more the process of elimination)
unless it is some mysterious Jinhao Green ink
This has been fun!
OK. I can see one last clue is needed. It is indeed a PenBBS ink, but none of the above - it's actually one of their better known inks, and has had pretty good availability outside China.
The sketch is of a succulent. One of its common names is pussyfoot . Its real name is comprised of three words, and these appear in the name of the ink.
It's originally from South Africa, but (as is indicated by the word 'window' in another of its common names) it's quite happy anywhere with a bit of warmth and light. It's often referred to as an aloe, though it isn't one at all.

groan . . .
the one I didn't pick earlier
Penbbs 272 - haworthia cooperi
Ding Ding!
It is indeed Haworthia Cooperi Baker - and very succulent it is too!!
Congratulations
I promise, if I get another one, I'll make it much, much easier.
It is a very pretty ink though - and beautifully behaved - it's a bit light for writing other than for short notes, and really needs a fat or flexible nib, but it's such a pleasure to write with that I rather forgive it.

Thank you mizgeorge for being so patient and generous with the hints. I am not familiar with this ink and actually thought it might be too dark.
So, enough of cats and greens for now.
I randomly selected a pen from my inked pens (I have 18 of them inked right now). The pen selected was my Lamy 2000 with a fine nib. I found an appropriate quote and wrote the following. 20210729 2mp.jpgDawn adj 2mp.jpg
I am not an artist and have no idea how to draw waves. They look like sea monsters. Ugh! The colors are fairly accurate, but I think the photo may be closer.
This should be fairly easy and quick. Enjoy!

First thanks @mizgeorge for patience and all the clues..
Bravo @DrPerfection.
I loved C.S. Lewis.... brings lots of fond memories..
Robert Oster: Blue Sea, Blue water ice, or Ocean?
Very nice DrPenfection! I’d been looking for an appropriate succulent ink for quite a while before running out of time and finally thinking that it was probably in the PenBBS inks that I know little about!
You’re all so much better with the sketches than I am.
For my first guess, I have to make sure this isn’t Waterman Inspired Blue aka South Sea Blue…
Don't feel bad - I don't have any PenBBS inks yet, and am not really familiar with them. Truthfully, my experience - albeit several years old now - with Chinese inks was not very positive.
But your guess about about Waterman Inspired Blue (South Seas Blue) is a great one, but not this one.
As the saying goes, "close but no cigar".

Robert Oster Bondi Blue?
Lamy Pacific Blue?
