Hmm, the geographical clue would tend to suggest something like Pelikan or Montblanc. But all of their browns are more yellow, I think. Diamine chocolate brown is an obvious choice but that wouldn't seem to be a near neighbour. Hmmm...

None of these. I think there might be only a couple of German brands not yet named.
Another clue - the colour of the ink is named after a type of fruit. That's almost given you all the answer :-)

Doubtless you are right... I liked this round more when I thought there was a chance it could be potting soil brown, though. At least that's an evocative name for an ink.
