More lovelies!
Great guesses but unfortunately not those either.
Can I confuse you all even more by telling you that the ink shares a name with a romantic musical film?

Hmm . . . Xanadu - no; White Christmas - no; South Pacific - maybe; The yanks are coming - no; Viva Las Vegas - no; Showboat - likely no; Oklahoma - not; Yentl - no; Road to Bali - no; Mamma Mia - no . . . hmmmm - keep looking
I am going to make my last guess as KWZ Blue Hawaii (or as some suggest Hawaii Blue). But I thought this ink was still made, but now I guess not.
I have found Robert Oster Blue Lagoon, Papier Plume Calle Real, Van Dieman's Twilight Zone and Krishna Silent Night - all blue inks, all with names of movies, but none are musicals.
Oh dear…
I’m afraid I’ve underestimated the difficulty and overestimated the infamy of this ink!
It might be a good idea to remind me to stay away from inks that are out of production, at least for a while…
My apologies.
With a little more time on my hands, I’ve produced this series of sketches that I wish I’d thought of earlier and provided in three parts.
I hope it helps!

Paper is Kokuyo this time.
(And I love being in the inky candy store!)

Revisiting the initial quote, think of it like the ink is singing about a bottle…
Commotion about the bottle is why production of this ink was stopped…I saw someone again today who remembered me and you
They asked all the same old questions, I gave the same excuse
They said, "What a shame, what a shame, to lose a love so fine"
But I never lost you, I never lost you
I never lost you, you were never mine
Aha!
Krishna Pakeezah
thi (September 11th, 2021)
Oh thank goodness!
You’ve saved me mizgeorge!
I didn’t want to stump you all.
I even prepared this terribly rough sketch of the bottle.

Yes! It is Krishna Pakeezah, a lovely sheener with a short retail life.
Named for a famous Bollywood film (ball-lee-wood).
The ink was sold packaged with this bottle, but unbeknownst to the creator and seller of the ink, the rights to the bottle design were not properly secured. (“You were never mine…“)
After discussion between the parties, existing stock was sold, but no more of this ink has been produced, though it may one day return.
I believe all of this happened last year?
Pen Chalet provided me with a very generously sized sample, which mostly went into this Opus 88 pen.
Thank you all for your patience!
Your turn mizgeorge!
And I think DrPenfection deserves my next turn for her great effort as well!

Your sketch of "ball-wave-board" was sure stumping me! :-)
thi (September 11th, 2021)
My wife called it a wave too!
“Draw a better mountain!”
I attempted to add a snow cap to the “mountain” after, but it was still not particularly clear…
Then she criticized my use of the tree and said draw a piece of wood like this…
Quickly grabbed a piece of paper and produced a much more skillfully sketched board with a random pen.
So I also added the board after as well!

Thanks Thi for the history of the Krishna bottle...
and bravo @mizgeorge..... when are you going to launch your own line of fabulous inks?
thi (September 11th, 2021)
This was an ink that frustrated me hugely - I went to order it when it first came out, but to justify it wanted to add a few others, some of which were out of stock. By the time they were available, it had been withdrawn and I'd missed it. I always thought it looked fabulous I hope Dr. Sreekumar makes it again sometime (even if not in the delicious little bottle) as I don't think it's the same colour as any of my other Krishna inks (and I have quite a few!).
Back in a while with a new (and perhaps rather easier) one!
Aha! So this is the ink that got away for all of us ravenous ink-aholics!! just kidding!
thi, thank you for the fun quest. But I must say that you really threw me with the romantic musical. I literally combed every known romantic musical I could find, and never thought about the legendary Bollywood movies. You really got me on this one.
Well done! And please don't feel as though you need to give your next turn to me. This is pure relaxation for me and I thoroughly enjoy it!
And well done, mizgeorge! I can't wait for your next adventure. But I will . . . patiently. . . I think . . . .. . . . . . . .
So, today my close-eyes-and-grab gave me my little green Merlina - a very tiny pen indeed, bought partly because she's so pretty, and partly to make my little blue Merlin feel big and butch, which he never can with all the big pens around here that frighten him, even though they're all very gentle (perhaps apart from the Bonecrusher Studios...)
So here's a scan
inkguess43a.jpg
and a photo

This one shouldn't be too taxing!
Thank you mizgeorge, and another lovely sketch!
Love the pen too! I keep thinking about adding a Merlina to the collection…
Diamine Emerald?
Nice, as the Merlina.
Akkerman Dou's Emerald Green?
Best

Very nice sketch, mizgeorge, and beautiful pen!
To start with, I will suggest that your ink is Robert Oster Forest Green
Let's also try
Robert Oster Eucalytus Leaf
and
J. Herbin Lierre Sauvage (although seems a bit light)
She is a lovely little lady - with nice manners and a sweet little semi-flex nib - I really enjoy using her!
None of the guesses so far - though Diamine Emerald (which is not very emeraldy) is probably the closest
