Sorry. That isn't the ink. Nor do I have a semi/maxi-semi-flex nib. In fact I don't own a flex nib. I haven't found one that I can use with my very light hand. I know there are some very flexible nibs out there, but I also don't want to spend a fortune for something I won't use that often. I guess it is the Scot in me.

The answer is Troublemaker Grape Vine - a complete waste of money as far as I am concerned. Lovely color, nice green sheen, dries quickly, smears sometimes, but absolutely awful for staining, and a complete pain in the petuchie to clean.

Anyone like an almost full bottle?

Thank you DrPenfection - I had heard something similar before, and have personally had problems with one of their other heavy sheening inks (Lam-ang) though curiously Simoun was fine. Perhaps it's the ones with the purple base colour.

There may be a short intermission - I have to get an urgent job finished and I've already procrastinated about it for too long today!
