No - neither of those.
Diamine Dark Forest?
or maybe Robert Oster Green at Night?
Hi Darla! Both of those are nice colors, but not this ink.
Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been busy busy and away. This is still my favorite place to lurk though!
I feel like I shouldn’t even be guessing until I unburden my guilt at not reviewing Noodler’s Tolstoy for Yazeh yet, but I’m apparently compelled to throw this one out there…
3 Oysters Black Moss?
Welcome back, thi! Glad you are here!
Unfortunately, this ink is not 3 Oysters Black Moss.

thi, I'm delighted you're back!
Especially as I'm going to have to sit this one out - I've managed to get the cold from Hades, and I'm not much use to anyone right now. I just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you

Sorry to hear that mizgeorge and Yazeh are sick. But . . . that makes three of us. I have a sinus infection that doesn't seem to be getting any better. So, it is off to the doctor for me for some antibiotics.
thi or darla or someone else - please go ahead an post one of your inks.
I will be back in a few days, hopefully.
Sorry to hear that Dr. P.... take care....
Sorry to hear that all of you are not feeling well! 'tis the season, I guess - bah, humbug... Hope you are all feeling better soon!!
Meanwhile, I suppose I could put up one of my inks to guess. I don't have that many inks and they are not terribly exotic, but I'll see what I can do to make it interesting.
Ok, here we go. My apologies if this ink has been done before (I'll admit that I didn't go back through all 700+ pages of this thread!) but this is one that I haven't seen anyone mention yet, at least not in the last couple of rounds.
I present you with a lovely grey ink that feels quite fitting for the grey atmosphere here in the Northern Hemisphere. The text is a bit of a hint, albeit somewhat indirectly. Good luck with guessing this ink!
Text is written with my older Diplomat Monza (I believe, but cannot verify) with a steel M nib (I believe, but cannot verify), as it is currently in rotation with this ink. The other bits were written with a TWWBI 580 stub that I inked with it just to show you some line variation. Oh, and please forgive the shaky lines - I kept trying to flex, forgetting this was a stub nib!! Paper is Clairfontaine Triomphe.
Please note that the day is very grey and overcast here:

Can't wait to hear your guesses!

Gris de Houle?
Lexington Gray?
Although, I've just read that the USS Lexington was operating mostly in the Pacific, in which case this ink would be further west
... or a whole lot further east...

Ah Darla.. The first rule of ink guessing is let them sweat for a few rounds and then give them a hint
Fuyu-Syogun/
Diamine Silver Fox / Earl Grey?
Herbin Gris Nuage
Rohrer & Klingner SketchINK Thea?
Faber-Castell Stone Grey?
Caran dAche Infinite Grey?

Sorry, no to all of those.
And considering this ink and it being my first round, I thought it would only be fair to offer some hints...
Yazeh (November 30th, 2021)
Callifolio Gris de Payne?
Akkerman 29 Hofvijer Grijs?
Lamy Agate?
