Well done, Darla!
I would guess that it could be Pure Pens Llanberis Slate
or perhaps Laban Athena Dark Grey
or maybe DeAtramentis Mouse Grey
Good to see you back Dr. P

Glad to see both Yazeh and Dr. P are feeling well enough to guess some inks. Hope everyone is back to 100% very soon!
But nope, this ink is none of the above, sorry.
I do have some lovely grey inks to look up now, though!
Diamine Graphite?
De Atramentis Document Fog Grey/ Charles Dickens?
Monteverde Coal Noir?
Papier Plume oyster grey?
Montblanc Oyster grey?
De Atramentis Silver grey?
Nope, sorry, none of the above. I think I should probably give everyone another clue but I'm trying to decide what...hmmm...
No, none of those either.
Given that my small collection of ink is rather eclectic and I don't have a favorite brand (yet) - other than some 'safe' Waterman inks, the only brand I have bought more than one bottle of is KWZ and that is a grand total of 2 - it's only fair to give you another hint (besides the fact that this statement is also a bit of a hint)...
My greetings were from the eastern side of the Atlantic, and yes, I am in Europe. The ink is also connected to Europe in some way. That could be the brand, or it could be the name... (or it could be both, who knows?)

And lest my statement about which inks I have pointed you in the wrong direction, it is not a KWZ ink.
(Nor a Waterman ink, obviously.)

Edelstein Moonstone?
Pennonia Viharfelhö Storm Cloud?
Stipula Calamo Dark Grey/Fading grey?
None of those either. I thought this ink might be a little more difficult to guess, but I did think it was a little more well known than it is since I bought it from my local online pen shop. It seems it may be a little more obscure than I originally thought, however... so I will give a few more hints...
It is a very small collection, smaller than Pennonia.

The name of the brand is ancient but the company's focus is very modern and high-tech.
It is a grey ink, but it is not a 'Grey' ink. It is a particular kind of grey, and today I learned that the name refers to a natural type of graphite stone. And that this stone does not actually come from Europe, despite being named after a European location, but rather from Brazil.
