Continuing in the festive cheer, here's a red ink that I recently received as a sample with an ink order. I'm not sure it's a good one for letter-writing or note-taking, but I think I might just use it for my Christmas cards this year! So, I've been practicing a bit this morning with my 1950s no-name pen with a super flexy Edacoto nib.

Oh, and this time it's not an obscure brand... thought I would give everyone a break!

Yes, well done, it's one of these... but which one?

I would say, it's not Rouge Hematite... it has a sheen.... and it is is a complex red.
I would opt for Sparkly Cranberry based on your clue....

It was only afterwards that I realized the 'laying off the sauce' was actually an extra double clue: sparkling cranberry cocktail and cranberry sauce! At least my subconscious was working even if my conscious isn't today, haha!

I guess I was asleep for all of this. Oh well, that's the breaks for living way on the western side of North America. Did you know that the city of Reno is further west than Los Angeles? And did you know that Reno is higher in elevation than Wengen, Switzerland in the Berner Oberland? Just a little geography lesson for you this cold and snowy/rainy morning.
