My guess is that we do not know the manufacturer.

Maybe our unknown manufacturer is:

Of course a one man show.
A hillbilly only known by some expert ink geeks.
This guy only brew a few bottles a batch, and of course he only does this at midnight at every second full moon.
You only way to get introduced to this inks is when you got personally invited by another geek and of course you have to perform a blood oath to keep the identity of this guy secret . 😈

• The ink is named after a completely different animal
• Some of their other inks are named after animals (including one of my favourite ink names)
