And yes!!! She has it.
The mysterious ink #1 is Robert Oster Caffe Crema, which is Yazeh's choice for the fill.
However, as the winner, I think you should choose Darla - which one will it be?
I was going to give the additional clue that all can be found in drinks, but didn't need to in the end!
(and has anyone guessed the blue ink?)
DrPenfection (January 11th, 2022), Yazeh (January 11th, 2022)
Woohoo!! Yes, I agree with Yazeh that it should be the Caffe Crema. A very interesting color! You'll have to show us how it looks using the Pelikan!
And I was already scouring the internet for the blue, just in case.
Here are my guesses:
Herbin Bleu Myosotis
Van Dieman's Wineglass Bay
KWZ Azure #1
Callifolio Bleu Mediterranee
Diamine Mediterranean Blue
FWP Dusk in Bloom
FWP Blue Cotton Candy
Robert Oster Grey Seas
Diamine China Blue
De Atramentis Cotton Candy
Or is it also a drink? haha
I also like that Lie de Thé better in your swatch than I have seen it in the reviews. It looks like a very nice brown.
Bravo Darla! It's your turn... Won fair and square....
The blue one can be sketchInk Marlene?
Well done, Darla!
And thank you, mizgeorge, for taking us down a little different direction.
While we're waiting for mizgeorge to tell us if we got the bonus blue ink right, I'm going to go ahead and put up my ink, as it's getting late here and I didn't want you to have to wait until tomorrow. Unless you don't get it quickly and I go to bed, of course, but we'll see how fast someone recognizes this ink.
Here's the scan, which I think does a good job of representing the color this time:

Can't wait to hear your guesses!

There were some complications trying to take the close-up photo ;D Bonus points if you can guess the name of the cat!

Such a delightful and telling photo @Darla...
Pelikan Blue Black?
Essri?
Ferris Wheel Press Jelly Bean Blue Ink?
None of those, no. And I can tell you that this is not a standard blue ink.
As for the blue ink - DrPenfection should be able to guess it very easily indeed...
Now.
I'm hopelessly distracted by a new cat in da house (who should, of course, be called Diplo). We need more cat pictures in this thread...
I'll have a guess at
Pennonia Kékfestö
Pennonia Csontváry-kék
Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai Koiai
Taccia Jeans Indigo

I grew up with cats and had them all my life. Years ago I used to breed, raise and show Himalayan cats. I had several U.S. national winners - mostly kittens. Since I worked with the current breeder, this kitty is likely a distant descendant from one or two of my babies. The problem with having so many kitties (I had about 20 at one time) is that with all the combing and bathing and other stuff, I eventually developed a severe allergy to an enzyme that is in cat saliva. Since kitties groom themselves frequent that enzyme spreads over their coat, which sheds and get all over my clothes since my kitties were always in my lap. I ended up in the hospital for a week while my husband found homes for all my babies. Ever since them if I walk into someone's house who owns a cat, I start having trouble breathing. Love them, they don't love me.
Now I have dogs. They don't have that enzyme, so I don't have any problem with my Cavaliers.

Good morning, everyone! (as each time zone is waking up of course) I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that mizgeorge's very first guess is the correct ink!
It it indeed Pennonia Kékfestö or Embroidery Blue! Well done, mizgeorge!! (And bonus points for Yazeh getting me to give the early hint about it not being just a standard blue ink from one of the standard brands )
I am curious if my little drawing was the huge visual clue that I thought it might be.
I got this ink because the color and the name reminded me of the blue the Dutch also used for their Delft's Blue but also as a traditional color for embroidery. (This is also why I love the whole concept of Pennonia being about daily life in Hungary.) And I'm sure you are all aware of the fact that Delft Blue was supposed to be porcelain like the Chinese made, except that no one could figure out how to make the porcelain. So, the 'Delft Blue Porcelain' is not actually porcelain but is rather the same kind of glazed pottery as the Spanish and Portuguese Majolica.
Oh, and I LOVE all your creative names for my cat! His name is Leo, short for Leopold Baryshnikov because he walks like a ballet dancer and looks like he's wearing white tights. He's also normally an extremely polite cat who sits quietly somewhere until someone notices him and guesses what he wants. Unless he really, really, REALLY needs something, and then he sits right in the middle of whatever it is you are doing and flicks his tail back and forth over your work. I'm curious to know, though, why mizgeorge's new cat should be named Diplo?
Anyway, after all that random information... you're up, mizgeorge! Can't wait to see what you've got for us!
