LOL, that one was a combination of luck and google! My immediate first thought was mustard, which rapidly took me down the 'but we never see real mustard seed fields any more, just rapeseed'....
I can't say it's one I'd be a hurry to add to my collection - especially given that there are some Ukiyo-e inks I'd really like
Back shortly...
Bravo ladies...... I see you've had fun already
Yeah, it's definitely not one I would choose for myself since I use my inks mostly for writing (thus far). This free sample came with a stationery order and in the vial it looked quite dark. On paper, not so much. While I do like the color yellow (not as a favorite, though), it is just not a color that works well for writing. But I saved the vial thinking it might be fun for drawing - and now I've finally used it on a drawing... for guess the ink! LOL

So here's something completely different. Well it's another of my blue inks, but other than that it's different. I'd say this one was moderately difficult - widely available, but largely ignored.

Enjoy!
Well done mizgeorge, and thank you Darla for sharing another one of your inks.
This one looks like Robert Oster Grey Seas
Hmmm... interesting color and interesting color variation!
Maybe Diamine Indigo?
Robert Oster Grey Seas? or Evening Sapphire, although that might be too dark?
or perhaps Parker Quink Blue
Waldman Blue
Laban Blue
Taccia Light Washed Jeans or Classic Jeans
Pelikan blue black?
R&K Salix?
Herbin Bleu Nuit?
None of the above. Salix is probably the closest, but is greyer than this ink.
Lamy Benitoite?
Diamine Prussian Blue?
Vinta Aegean (Armada)?
De Atramentis Document Fog Grey?
De Atramentis Night Blue aka Sherlock Holmes?
Ferris Wheel Press Storied Blue?
