Yes. She think it's best to nimble on ones toes than to be related to some snuffy ballerina...
I explained to her, that he's a ballerino and not a ballerina.
She yawned, and said Potato/ Potato....
Are you going to get that damned picture or not?
    So I did.

And Darla, she told me to tell you, to tell Leo, that it's none of the above

Cali. It was her given name, when we adopted her. We tried a ton of other names, but in the this one stuck... She kept her name.

Leo also kept his shelter name, but it was a name they had taken from some goofy lion character named Clumsy Leo. They apparently didn't understand him at all! Definitely not a name befitting a little ballerino. But in the end it was a good name, so we upgraded it to Leopold Baryshnikov.

Oh, I was wondering how Mikhail turned into Leo
When I learned Leo's "surname", there was this story/comic script going on and on in my head.
    I hope you don't mind:

Leo meet Cali in the back alley. He's new on the block.
"So what's your name?" Cali purrs.
    "Leopold Baryshnikov"
    "Leo what now?"
"Baryshnikov" Leo stands proudly on his two feet and does a pas de chat.
"You've ever heard of Mikhail Baryshnikov, the Russian ballerino?"
    "Now I know of him,"
    "Well, he's related to me,"
