I also don't have Grenade, it's not a colour I use a great deal, and at the time I already had oku yama, and didn't feel the need to duplicate. Bad mistake, as the new little bottles are much, much worse value than the old 50ml ones were. We live and learn...
Great shading going on with this one!

@mizgeorge oh good. So, I'm not the only one. Personally, I'm not much of a fund of sailor and the only bottle I have is Doyou, which I use to remove stains.
@Darla heard a lot of damage in the Pays Bas, hope it didn't affect you...
F2F50476-E4B8-417C-80EC-1F36B55A49CA.jpgCome on Yazeh, what kind of device are you using?
The first one is Smaragdgrün, the second own is a bluish teal.
No way that they look similar.
What do the others think?
They look very different. But I trust photos overs scans. The latter can completely deform an ink. If I had taken a photo of Sailor Grenade everyone would have guessed it right away....
No, we got extremely lucky here! But other spots around the country, and also the north of Germany and Poland from what I hear, were not so lucky. We are Code Amber again for a third storm, Franklin, approaching from the Atlantic right now, so fingers crossed it won't be as bad as Eunice!
Yazeh (February 20th, 2022)
We've been bending and swaying to Franklin since last night - with another day to go (they say). It's not quite as bad as Eunice was, but with so much damage already in need of repair I suspect there will be a lot more trees down in the hours to come. We're very lucky in being in a relatively sheltered part of town. I feel desperately sorry for all the people without electricity again though. It's not the time of year to be without light and warmth.

Great guesses all!
We have the ink name, but not the brand name! Didn't I say this would be easy?
So, the first person who puts it together wins. (Yeah, I know I am being picky).

And darla and mizgeorge, I hope you are doing well despite the poor weather conditions. We are about to enter into another storm phase ourselves (after a bright, sunny 70 degrees F yesterday). The temperature has dropped into the 20's, storm clouds are rolling in and we expect snwo shortly and for the next few days. Yay! We need the moisture! (We always say that in the West whether we need it or not.).
Say safe, my friends.
Thanks for the update from both of you. I'M glad you're safe and sound.
We're still under a lot snow. Our miniature Japanese Maple, is almost entirely swallowed under the snow. The first "dutch" crocus are 2 months away. I'm looking forward to them.
@mizgeorge, 7 or 8 years ago, I ordered a lot of bluebell seeds from "reputable" British seed companies, scattering them all over the garden hoping that I can grow them here. I had tried bulbs several times but they never worked and I had read that they are of the "contaminated" variety.
Last year, in the middle of a patch of mind I found a bluish flower looking very familiar. When I posted it on a plant forum they told me it looks like a bluebell. This year, I'm looking forward to see how it fares... and hopefully it smells
Monteverde California Teal?
offtopic again . . .
I ordered a bunch of flower and vegetable plants for my pots (I live in a townhouse with no outside yard). They will not be delivered until mid-May because of our freeze-thaw season. So while you are all smelling the flowers, we will still be looking at dirt!
