I got a sample of the Yonaga when I was looking for a blacker-than-blue blue-black and it was a very nice color. Nearly indistinguishable from Profondeurs, except in the chroma. I have a cat that likes to walk across my papers with wet feet (he drinks from his water bowl with his paw) and I didn't like that all my notes turned red, so I ordered a bottle of the Profondeurs instead.

I also like your cat Darla - my last little lady refused to drink from a bowl at all, preferring a rather good crystal tumbler on the table...

For my next ink, I picked up the pen I was using just before I was ill, forgetting that I'd planned to give the nib a good scrub before I next used it. So apologies for the less than perfect performance - this time I'm blaming the pen rather than my wobbliness!

This is very much a colour from one of my favourite parts of the wheel. Unfortunately, it's chroma is so boring that I didn't even try to do anything wishy washy with it. I guess that's a clue in itself!
