My daughter is on her way back to Bangkok! It has been a tough day! If the world stays sane, we may see her at Christmas or perhaps next summer. But I sent her home with a couple of new Pilot VPs and Lamy Aions and about 100 sample vials full of ink. Her dad sent her home with about 4.5 kg of coffee from her favorite coffee roaster here.

That last hint was very helpful.

That De Atramentis ink looks like it shades a lot, especially for a permanent, waterproof one.

Heading out now for a short trip to the city - we live about 3 hours north of Chiang Mai, close to the border with Burma - so I won't get another ink up for at least another 36 hours or so.
