I find it really interesting that a few Montblanc red inks came out there. Very similar inks from the same Country.

Closest I found was Herbin Orange Indien, though there were very many close examples none of them seemed to have the same subdued almost pastel look.

You are right about it being a subtle colour, but it's not Orange Indien.
