Um, yeah... Actually it is a Noodler's ink...! Which is why I apologised from the very start - unfortunate it should happen to be the only one handy just after I had vented my frustration about trying to guess them! But all available swabs seem to be much the same colour, so I don't think we need declare shenanigans.
But not, I fear, this Noodler's ink.

Hmmm, Weevil claimed that purples are difficult to guess, I claim that brown inks are difficult to guess.
Considering your bias towards Asian inks my first guess would be Hakase Sepia.....

Oh well, they're all difficult to guess, but it seems that more people perceive purples differently, so you could have a sample that one person will view as spot on, and another might wonder if you have a faulty batch of that ink!
I will plump for an unlikely candidate - Diamine Ochre?
