Since on my screen it looks like a saturated red that's slightly leaning towards pink, my first guess will be Iroshizuku Bishamonten.
Bishamonten is too pink and it is not a Iroshizuku Ink.
The pink only appears in the wash when it is quite diluted, so looking at the wash might be misleading,
The ink is a really bright red, that does not really lean towards pink or orange.
I might would call it a classical bright red.
The ink behaves really well and dries quite fast.
It show very little water resistance and shading.
It is on the market since quite a while and is still available.
@All
Donˋt be shy keep the guesses coming.
Skrip Red ?
Hi,

Robert Oster Fire Engine Red?
Also, the fact that you didn't cross the t in the first "cultures" is making me twitch...
Vintage. Cursive italic. Iron gall.
I only have one red like this in my collection, so I’ll guess MB corn poppy red.
Now we gain some speed, it seems that some Geeks woke up and starting to play with me.
Good !!!
Mulrich, also an excellent guess, I do not own Corn Poppy Red, but also this ink seems to be a very good color match.
There are a couple bright red inks which almost could be twins, some we had already guessed before, some are still unmentioned.
But no..... it is also not a Montblanc ink.
Keep it coming, you all are on a good track. (and I already thought it would be too easy ...... And to be honest I’m glad that nobody guessed it right away ..... this makes the game so much more interesting... )
De Atramentis Oriental Red?
What a pleasure to the eyes Pterodactylus.
Waterman Audacious red? Diamine Brilliant red?

Thanks a lot Yazeh
And yes excellent guess, another really good color match...
But unfortunately the unknown ink is not a Waterman ink.
Keep the guesses coming, with every guess you sort out a very similar ink.
It’s only a question of time until you get the right one.
I almost forgot how entertaining this thread could be, it’s been quite a while since I participated regularly.
