    Bravo! Indeed it is....
I was going to give a hint that is somehow related to Darla.... but then you got it...

P.S. Mata Hari was a Dutch dancer and a "spy". She was executed by a French firing squad 1917.. they needed badly a scapegoat... as they were doing bad in the war...

    Great job, mizgeorge!

And thank you for presenting this great ink, Yazeh!

So what is the significance of Mata Hari's Cordial? Does it somehow relate to her as a "spy"?

I scoured the internet but I couldn't find anything about any cordial Dr. P. .
I know she was an exotic dancer and a courtesan... and did some lacklustre spy work. But nothing worth being executed for.
There was some controversy about the artwork on the ink bottle. The artist gave her a much ample bosom than she ever had... But that's another story....

I also did a little searching, thinking maybe she used alcohol to seduce her targets or something like that. But I didn't find anything. The only thing I did find is that there is a cocktail invented at a modern 'speakeasy' in New York called the Mata Hari and it did sort of look like it had that same type of color. But that's just a guess.

ahh, yes . . . but has anyone created a good story about Mata Hari's Cordial? It needs to be one of those "out of the box" provocative mysteries, not necessarily about Mata Hari, but features as a key component the Cordial. Perhaps set prior to WWII, the hidden daughter of Mata Hari follows her mother's footsteps and becomes a well placed courtesan in Paris but in reality is a spy for the Axis powers, killing her victims at the right time with her speciality - the Cordial. and so on . . .

    And now . . .

Aha! I should have headed straight for Ms Hari - that was very slow of me!

    I'll be back very shortly

OT... Reminds me of the story of the Brass Monkey, a canned cocktail drink from the 1970's that left this poor college lad with many a Sunday morning hangover. The advertising was very well done. And the color was surprising enough to be the exact same hue as Mystery Ink #31, Papier Plume's Sazerac.

    So.
    This one's a little different.

This pen ran out today. I've even cleaned it. Now it needs refilling and I have narrowed it down (for today anyway) to three inks.

I'd like to know what the three inks are, and also which one should go in the pen!

There's a completely irrelevant bonus for identifying the blue ink as well!

    Have fun!

I should add the the colours in the large picture are running a tiny bit yellow (sorry - nothing but artificial light these days) but those in the close ups are much more accurate.

@junglejim thanks for the recipe and story. At one point I was intrigued by truly historical cocktails and went through an old recipe book. But then I realized I don't like cocktails. And like my liquor straight.. and then I realized I didn't care for alcohol altogether, unless cooking

    @mizgeorge ; that's one gorgeous pen...
    That needs a special ink
I would go with he first one....
The other two are of dubious shades
Kwz gold robert Oster gold antiqua for starters...
