guess the ink!

So, for something completely different, this one is so subtle it's hard to capture at all - it's not quite as pale as it might appear - and I should probably have used a much wider nib, but I wanted to break in a new pen at the same time, and I should have let the ink rest in it for a little longer.

Horribly hard to capture without better lighting, but my proper lighting rig's all stored away at the moment.

The middle picture is very true to colour, and this one's much easier than the last one was!

I am indeed yearning for spring - we're expecting a pretty nasty storm to arrive tomorrow for us in the south west of the country, whilst the north are due for heavy snow, so my few poor little snowdrops, and the daffodils that have appeared (but not yet bloomed) don't stand much of a chance!

Lucky (unlucky you)... Spring is two months away here. Have your bluebells been contaminated by the Spanish ones or have they retained their scent?
My bulbs are under several feet/ cm of snow, which are being rained upon and over night we'll receive another 15 cm of snow/ice pellets and freezing rain
I don't mind the snow. But don't appreciate the ice....

Yazeh, I SO do not envy you. I lived in Russia for a couple of years (feels like a long, long time ago now) and it was enough to put me off winter for ever. I just can't cope with the cold any more - I want to hibernate even in this maritime climate - the idea of two more months until any sign of spring is just unthinkable! And your poor little bulbs... We are lucky to still have native bluebells, but one of the local woods has been invaded by hybrids now - they're more vigorous, sadly (though a lovely colour - more like that shown in my ink!)

But I moved PenBBS Xiamen to the top of the list because I liked it best, so I’m going to go with that.
And hope Yazeh doesn’t swoop me now I’ve narrowed it down to three hahaha

But it’s probably the Hermes that I think is too dark but does seem to have the right undertones…
