    We got a winner!

Well to be honest, nothing is written on the bottle. Just Parker Quink

So... This a well-known ink. Used both by presidents and "normal" people

A legendary ink! It actually fits the hints just as well as the ink in the photo however the ink in the photo is not MB.

It doesn't look like it but Parker penman sapphire?
Though, I would assume presidents wold use permeant inks, so maybe Parker permanent blue?

To be more accurate I actually meant particularly presidents of one great country other than the U.S.
The current version of Parker Permanent Blue (which ironically is not water resistant at all and unlike R&K Permanent Blau isn't lightfast) is very close in colour to the ink in the photo, Penman (RIP) was much more vibrant and without any purple.

    Hmm,
great country - grande nation - France...
And Emmanuel Macron writes with a similar ink.

The country is correct, the ink is not (but you intrigued me to have a look at Macron's writing, I have found some but I am not sure what it is). The ink was used by some of his predecessors

As for the guess I am going to say that it is not Waterman Mysterious Blue. Btw Waterman Mysterious Blue used to be called "blue-black" and at some stage it was IG, then the IG component was discontinued and without IG it became this weird (yet somehwat intriguing) colour but the name "blue-black" was kept for years nevertheless confusing people

Thanks for the info on Waterman mysterious being IG. TO be honest, I haven't tried any in ages. I know it's shocking

I got a bottle a while ago because I wanted what was called a standard. It needs the right paper to have enough darkness to be classed as blue/black. In fact I usually refer to it as Mysteriously Watery Blue.

Indeed it is Serenity Blue A surprisingly interesting ink if used in very wet pens

Honestly it might look quite good... if the pen is a firehorse But in such pens even the dullest inks look good.

It seems that nobody wants to continue.

So let me throw an ink into the ring.

The ink looks quite blue in the picture, actually it leans a bit more to the grey when I look it side by side screen and pad.
I might try to post an additional picture later.

    Game On!

The closest ink to that that I've used was Pilot Blue-Black (which is a fantastic ink). I have another guess... but I'll start with that.

I’m sorry SlowMovingTarget it’s not a Pilot ink.

    Keep the guesses coming. 👍

Nope Adhoc, also not a Pelikan ink this time.

The ink we are searching is obviously a high shading ink.
