    I like it very much

I'm going to try Troublemaker Kelp Tea partly because of the hints, but also because I can see a hint of pink in there.

If not, perhaps Ferris Wheel Press Moss Park Green (though I may be projecting, having just swatched that this morning!)

Aha! I only just got it, and it's moved very rapidly into my current favourite greens - lovely, dusty and slightly undersaturated - just right next to a zingy pink

    I will return slightly later...

Was your sample slightly on the dry side? Mine was? With some flow issues with a fude nib.

Sample shmample, I got a bottle It's definitely a bit dry - as all the FWP inks seem to be - which is great for my big fat piston fillers, and I add a smidgeon of flow aid for finer nibs. This seems to be a very common feature of the less saturated 'weaker' inks that I'm so fond of, but at least it's easy to fix, as opposed to the other way round, where the only option is to dilute, sometimes significantly, which can unbalance the chemistry in surprising (and sometimes unpleasant) ways.

With a dip nib, a bit of gum arabic works very well, but makes them much glossier, and I like the muted chalkiness of most of their colours.

Thanks for the detailed response. A small bottle or you went all the way?

Haha, just the small one (the 38ml, not the cute but wildly overpriced tiny little one) for now - but I'd definitely get the giant globe (my daughter calls them potion bottles) next time. I love it.

It is indeed Calligraphy Passion, which arrived only this morning and is utterly gorgeous. I'd never even heard of it until Tuesday...

Glad, I know of one or two inks that you don't know of

Not dissimilar from Neon Lime when I reviewed them.

You're spot on Chrissy - it's very close in colour to Neon Lime (for which I have a bizarre affection), but without the sparkly stuff. The amount of shading is just insane. I have no idea why I have such a weakness for these zingy greens (and blues/aquas/pinks if I'm honest) when I'm normally very much about murky or pastel undersaturated inks.
