Nope too much on the blue side.

As a hint, it's a classic ink, available since a long time (Personally it's one of my all time favorite inks).

Come on guys, no guessing at all? Can't be.
I know you know this ink, sooner or later almost everybody at least heard about it.
Its color is great, it's behaving extraordinary well, and has many other qualities (but If I tell too much it would be too easy).

    Nope, also not Montblanc Blue-Black
Yes there are some, but this is also true for all the other colors.
Some say we live in the golden age of inks, as there are so many on the market.

    Next Hint:
Itˋs manufactured by a European company.
And it's not a brand you would call a designer ink brand.

It's owned by BIC, so it's a French brand.

The participation is really low,.... Is it because it's too difficult or almost nobody is interested in this thread anymore?

    Next Hint:
This ink writes extremely well on all types of paper, it neither feathers nor bleed.
You can write with it almost on toilet paper.
But some people are scared to use it (even there is no real reason to fear it, it behaves really well).

Good guess, yes it's an iron gall ink but not Salix.
    Salix is not that dark.

The ink which we are searching shows a cool color change when you write with it.

    And we have a winner

    Diamine Registrars Ink is wrong.

But ESS Registrars Blue-Black is right.

I can only recommend to try this ink, itīs awsome, for me a must have, waterproof, extremly well behaving, writes on everything, cool shadings, good color, no high maintenance efforts needed.
Itīs my favorite drawing ink, and I like also to write with it. I always have a pen inked up with this ink.

Itīs your turn Coyote, surprise us with an interesting ink to guess
