So how do you like Triple tail?
Noodler's Saguaro Wine?
Noodler's Eel Cactus Fruit?
Kwz Raspberry?
I've had the triple tail for a while, and didn't like it at all until I ground the nib to be much, much finer - slightly nerve-wracking with the three tines as the outer ones end up being really very narrow indeed, but much nicer to use as a result. The snapback's still very poor though.

It's not a Noodler's ink - that would be a step too far

I do not like fine nibs at all. Most of mine are broad, with the exception of the back of a Parker 180 B/F, which I only use when I need to write very small. I did not expect to like the Triple Tail, as I have a Konrad which does nothing for me; but with an ink that has strong shades, as Apache Sunset certainly does, I get on with it very well.
Neither ink, I'm afraid.
@David, I generally like either very broad or very, very fine nibs, and not much in between. For flex nibs, I tend to prefer them as close as possible to my dip nibs, and the slimmed down Triple Tail gets close, just without the snapback of a great old nib or a dip pen.
I think my entire collection of pens for my own use includes only a very few M nibs, and these are generally vintage ones that I can't quite bring myself to rework (usually because they don't have enough tipping to get away with it!), but which are soft and expressive enough to write beautifully anyway.
Love the Parker 180 - a very underrated pen IMO.
