No not a montblanc ink. No one carries Russian inks except in Russia but it is a pretty ink.

I agree. Sadly I think this is on of those too obscure inks but felt it needed exposure here. The ink is from Ferris Wheel Press. They originally started their ink line via Kickstarter last year and are finally on their own feet for selling it. This is Bluegrass Velvet. They have two other inks as well. Great colors and packaging.

It's great to see new ink makers joining the market to keep the traditional ink makers on their toes but I'm not a kickstarter user so I had never heard of them until now.

Hmm… I may take back the comment about keeping traditional ink makers on their toes. The reviews of the ink look very positive but they charge $36 US per bottle plus $10 shipping. The bottles are large (85ml) but it's unlikely I will finish most of my 50ml bottles so I don't get much value from buying a ton of a single ink.

The only ink in my collection that's even remotely close is Platinum Citrus Black but it doesn't look like the ink in the photo is getting darker so I doubt that's it. But I'll still make Citrus Black my guess just to keep things moving.
